Heritage Hall Nursing Facilities In Massachusetts Sold For $24 Million; Genesis HealthCare Will Remain As Operator

An Ohio real estate company sold the Heritage Hall campus of nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities in Agawam, Massachusetts to a new ownership group, including current operator Genesis HealthCare, for a total of $24 million. The sale was final as of September 12, 2019. 

The four facilities—Heritage Hall West, North, South, and East—total 533 beds. According to Lori Mayer, vice president of investor relations, brand management, and marketing communications at Genesis HealthCare, Genesis HealthCare will maintain control of and keep its licenses for the facilities.
