New Mexico Department of Health Announces Changes to Developmental Disabilities Waiver Program
November 19, 2010 On January 1, 2011, the New Mexico Department of Health implemented cost cutting measures for the Developmental Disabilities waiver program. The measures include an eight percent reduction to the annual service budget of every participant in the waiver program. Provider organization reimbursements were cut five percent. These changes are expected to save the department $5 million this year, and $10 million in fiscal year 2012. Download the Report . . .
