The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board of Cuyahoga County and BeST Center Request for Partners to Establish FIRST
November 19, 2010 On March 1, 2011, the Jewish Family Service Association (JFSA) of ClevelandÂ’s Ascentia Division launched FIRST Cuyahoga County, a comprehensive early identification and treatment program for individuals with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. The program will enroll up to 25 individuals experiencing a first episode of a schizophrenia disorder. A six-member team will deliver the program services which include medication management, individual counseling, family psychoeducation, supported employment/education, and case management.
