December 2, 2009 The Office of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) proposes funding programs to document and measure the effectiveness of delinquency prevention, intervention, and/or treatment programs to prevent and reduce girls' risky behaviors and criminal offenses. Over the past two decades, the number of girls entering the juvenile justice system has dramatically increased.
