Hurley Foundation Receives $50,000 Grant For Behavioral Health Emergency Center Development

The Hurley Foundation plans make treating mental illness more efficient and accessible with the help of a $50,000 grant from the Tuuri Health Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. The grant will aid in the development of a Behavioral Health Emergency Center that will be located on Hurley’s Dutcher building. The Center will act as an Urgent Care Center for mental health where individuals will receive community-based, full-service resources for behavioral health crisis issues.
