Interim Evaluation of the Ambient Assisted Living Joint Programme
December 18, 2010 Europes Ambient Assisted Living Joint Program (AAL JP) which in 2008 started testing how information and communication technologies (ICT) could enhance quality of life and the cost-effectiveness of care for older adults, received a nod of support from an independent European panel. The panel reviewed the first two years of the AAL JP to assess the quality and efficiency of its implementation, its progress toward objectives, and the appropriateness of the level of financial contribution from each of the participating countries.
