Founded in 1992, Baltimore Crisis Response (BCRI) is a private non-profit organization that provides comprehensive community-based psychiatric crisis intervention and addiction treatment services. BCRI is the city's first and only comprehensive crisis center and has a mission to provide timely and effective community-based services in the least restrictive environment.

They work in partnership with other city provider organizations to create new and innovative ways to serve this vulnerable population. They are accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), as well as the American Association of Suicidology.
