CMS Presentation: Healthy Adult Opportunity

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the presentation on January 30, 2020. It presents an overview of the new Healthy Adult Opportunity (HAO) initiative. The initiative will allow states to use flexible benefit designs under either an aggregate or per-capita cap financing model for certain populations without being required to comply with a list current Medicaid provisions identified by CMS.
