December 28, 2010 On December 20, 2011, the City of Richmond released a request for proposal to develop and operate the Richmond Juvenile Detention Center Post-Dispositional Program. On January 19, 2011, Virginia selected the National Partnership for Juvenile Services for a $54,535 contract to operate the Post-Dispositional Program. The program, funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, will provide trauma-focused care via cognitive behavioral therapy and rational behavioral therapy. It will be offered as an alternative to committing young men ages 14 to 17 years to the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice . . .
