December 30, 2010 The Texas Health and Human Services Commission released a report on Texas Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities in 2010. The report found that in state fiscal year 2009, 13,615 Texas children eligible for Medicaid received inpatient psychiatric care; of those, 76 were in the foster care system.
