Bill SB 3103 was passed in Tennessee in 2012. The bill requires that starting January 2013, the commissioner of health to report to the house of representatives and the senate on the degree of access to telemedicine services in each grand division of the state in public programs and in private health insurance plans and also on the effects on public health of greater access to telemedicine services in rural and urban areas.
