Massachusetts Harvard Pilgrim/Optum Assurance Of Discontinuance

The Commonwealth o fMassachusetts, through the Office of the Attorney General (AGO), conducted an investigation into certain acts and practices of health plans doing business in Massachusetts, including Harvard Pilgrim and its delegate Optum, concerning Behavioral Health Care services. In lieu of litigation, the AGO, Harvard Pilgrim, and Optum agree to enter this assurance of discontinuance (AOD) on the terms and conditions contained herein, pursuant to G.L. c. 93A, § 5.
