Texas Seeks Consumer Case Coordinator Outsourcing Pilot

January 17, 2011 Texas' Division of Rehabilitation Services of the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services Commission (DARS) seeks a contractor to relieve the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC) and rehabilitation support staff of some of their current duties, thereby allowing them more time to effectively handle their increasing workload. The Division of Rehabilitation Services of the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services Commission wishes to outsource certain important but not core functions currently performed by the VRC and rehabilitation support staff as a pilot project in the DARS Wichita Falls field office.
