Consumer Perspectives of Community Mental Health Center Services in New Hampshire, 2010

January 28, 2011 The New Hampshire Bureau of Behavioral Health (BBH) is preparing to apply for a 1915(b) Medicaid waiver that will enable it to replace its existing Medicaid fee-for- service reimbursements for community-based mental health treatment with an outcomes-based prepaid health system to reimburse for community mental heath services. BBH also commissioned the University of New HampshireÂ’s Institute on Disability (IOD), to conduct a consumer survey to assess consumer perspectives of community mental health center services.
