February 23, 2011 On February 23, the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) held a public meeting to discuss dual-eligible beneficiaries. A review of care coordination models submitted to Medicare by Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans (SNP) serving people eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid—dual eligibles—found that most of the models lacked adequate descriptions about care coordination activities.
