March 1, 2011 The California Alzheimers Disease and Related Disorders Advisory Committee released a report on the number of California residents with Alzheimer's disease and recommendations for the state. Within the next 20 years the number of California residents living with Alzheimers disease will nearly double, growing to over 1.1 million. The increase will be even more dramatic among Californias Asians, and Latinos, who will see a tripling in those affected by 2030.
