Minnesota DHS Bulletin: Implementation of Medical Assistance for Adults Without Children Effective March 1, 2011
March 1, 2011 This Minnesota Department of Human Services Bulletin provides policy and instructions for the Medical Assistance expansion for adults without children. The expansion will replace two state-funded programs—General Assistance Medical Care (GAMC) and MinnesotaCare—which provide coverage to about 83,000 people. An additional 12,000 people who are uninsured are expected to enroll. Eligibility is limited to people with incomes at or below 75 percent of the poverty level, about $677 a month or $8,124 a year for one person. Download the Report . . .
