Mental Health & Substance Use Communities Support $4.5 Billion In SAMHSA Funding
On August 28, 2020, the Mental Health Liaison Group, which is composed of a coalition of national organizations, sent a letter to the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives to express support for the $4.5 billion in funding for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), as provided in the Health, Economic Assistance, Liability Protection and Schools (HEALS) Act.
