Michigan Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Administration Presentation to Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Community Health
March 9, 2011 The Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards recommended that the state change the mental health service delivery system to maximize federal Medicaid funds, reduce state regulations, and implement a statewide Medicaid patient registry. The association projected that the changes would improve patient care and generate annual savings of $16 million. The plan is supported by all 46 community mental health boards in the state.
