Founded in 1998, The Trevor Project (Trevor) is a non-profit organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. Trevor also operates an educational program with resources for youth-serving adults and organizations, an advocacy division, and a research team to identify the most effective support services for LGBTQ youth who are experiencing a crisis and ultimately end suicide. The organization is accredited by the American Association of Suicidology.
