April 18, 2011 On April 18, 2011, the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (DHFS) issued an informational notice that describes its preferred drug list (PDL) changes of Atypical Antipsychotic, Anticonvulsants, Antidepressants-SSRI's, Antidepressants-Other, and Stimulants/ADHD Agents. 17 brand-name psychiatric drugs are no longer automatically provided to people on Medicaid.
