Iowa Senate File 525, an Act Relating to Reforming State & County Responsibilities for Adult Disability Services
April 20, 2011 On April 20, 2011, the Iowa Senate Appropriations Committee approved plans to shift the states adult disability services systemincluding mental health servicesfrom a county-based delivery system to a regional system by July 1, 2013. The state will become the sole payer for publicly-funded services.
