May 1, 2011 In May 2011, the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Productivity, Efficiency & Staffing (OPES) made a presentation at the VA Psychology Leadership Conference on creation of a productivity standard for mental health professionals in the VA. The presentation describes the history and current status of mental health provider productivity guidance in VHA and provides initial study results for psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, individual therapists, and group therapists in VA mental health outpatient clinics.
