May 4, 2011 The Indiana Department of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) is changing the definition of community mental health care and changing the allocation of federal aid used for local drug abuse and alcohol abuse programs. The new definition relates to the continuum of care offered by community mental health centers and other provider organizations and is focused on services to prevent and treat mental health and addiction for all populations.
