Remote Monitoring System for Detecting Cocaine Ingestion/Intoxication (R01) RFA-DA-12-007
May 23, 2011 On May 23, 2011, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) released a request for grant applications (RFA-DA-12-007) to invent a remote continuous monitoring system to detect cocaine use in ambulatory patients. Proposals are due by August 18, 2011, and projects would start as early as April 2012. The system will be used in clinical trials to test cocaine dependence treatments.
