South Carolina Public Notice Regarding Reduction in Payment to Medicaid Providers & Increased Beneficiary Co-payments as of July 8, 2011
June 6, 2011 On June 6, 2011, South Carolinas Medicaid agency announced plans to reduce provider organization reimbursements between two and seven percent as of July 1, 2011. Behavioral health professionals will experience a seven-percent reduction. In addition to provider organization rate reductions, patients will also be required to pay copayments $1 to $3.30 per visit.
