June 6, 2011 On June 6, 2011, South Carolina’s Medicaid agency announced plans to reduce provider organization reimbursements between two and seven percent as of July 1, 2011. Behavioral health professionals will experience a seven-percent reduction. In addition to provider organization rate reductions, patients will also be required to pay copayments $1 to $3.30 per visit.
