Massachusetts Medicaid Letter of Intent Regarding Financial Models to Integrate Care for Medicare-Medicaid Enrollees Senior Care Options

September 28, 2011 On September 28, 2011, the Massachusetts Office of Health and Human Services, Office of Medicaid notified the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services of its plans to integrate care for dual eligibles aged 65 and over through the state's Senior Care options program. The letter describes the financial model for this program which will integrate primary, acute, behavioral health, and long-term supports and services for both Medicare and Medicaid services.
