September 29, 2011 LHC Group Inc. entered into a Corporate Integrity Agreement with the federal Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office of Inspector General to resolve a whistleblower civil lawsuit. LHC Group was alleged to have violated the False Claims Act for false home health care billings to the Medicare, TRICARE, and Federal Employees Health Benefits programs.
