Amedisys To Acquire Evolution Health

Amedisys, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire Evolution Health, LLC, a division of Envision Healthcare, doing business as Guardian Healthcare, Gem City, and Care Connection of Cincinnati. The transaction is slated to close in the first half of 2022. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Evolution Health, LLC serves more than 3,300 home health consumers daily at 15 locations across Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio. Its payer mix includes Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. Its service line includes skilled nursing, occupational, physical and speech therapy, counseling, and emotional support.

Amedysis operates a national network of 331 home health care centers . . .
