Teladoc & Amazon Launch Teladoc On Alexa For Nationwide Access To Non-Emergency Telehealth Service

Teladoc Health announced a partnership with Amazon to offer telehealth services through Amazon Alexa Echo devices. Through this service, U.S.-based consumers  with and without health insurance can use their supported Amazon Echo devices to launch voice-activated general medical virtual care visits with Teladoc. The service is intended for non-emergency telehealth services.

The Teladoc visits can take place via an Echo, Echo Dot, or Echo Show device. Teladoc on Alexa will initially launch via audio with video visits coming soon. To launch a visit, consumers can say, “Alexa, I want to talk to a doctor.” The device . . .
