Telepsychiatry Platform Brightside Health Raises $50 Million
Brightside Health, which provides a telemedicine platform focused on mental health treatment for adults with depression, raised $50 million in Series B funding. It plans to use the funds to expand its platform and partnerships. It plans to triple its team from 57 employees to 175. It also plans to participate in value-based care arrangements. The funding round was led by ACME Capital and Mousse Partners, with participation from existing investors Bullpen Capital, Triventures, and Trousdale Ventures.
