Evernorth & Kaiser Permanente Enter Strategic Collaboration

Evernorth, Cigna Corporation's health services business, and Kaiser Permanente, an integrated health maintenance organization (HMO) entered a new five-year collaboration. The agreement is effective immediately. Initially the agreement will give Kaiser Permanente and its members access to Cigna's preferred provider organization provider (PPO) network outside Kaiser Permanente service areas. Kaiser members will also have access to Cigna’s specialty pharmacy services. The collaboration has the potential to extend in additional areas during the course of the agreement.
