LifePoint Health Leads Investment In Specialist TeleMed

LifePoint Health and Specialist TeleMed (STeM) announced that an affiliate of LifePoint Health will lead an investment in STeM. STeM provides virtual care consultations for more than 24 inpatient and outpatient specialties; it also partners with health care provider organizations. Following the upcoming investment from the LifePoint Health affiliate, STeM’s existing leadership team will remain at the helm. STeM intends to use the funding to expand its footprint with its existing client base and with the LifePoint network. The investment is anticipated to take place in 2022, but the organizations did not provide a target date.
