Sunrise Community To Build $10.5 Million Intermediate Care Facility For People With I/DD In Madison County, Florida
The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) approved a plan in which Sunrise Community will build an intermediate care facility (ICF) for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Madison County. The $10.5 million facility will be built in the next 18 months. The facility will have three separate 8-bed homes. The beds will be reserved for individuals who require increased levels of behavioral, medical, and therapeutic oversight because of severe maladaptive behavior.
