December 2, 2011 On December 1, 2011, the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division released the findings of its investigation of the Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys and the Jackson Juvenile Offender Center in Marianna, Florida. The investigation found harmful practices at both the sites that threatened the safety and wellbeing of youth.
