December 5, 2011 The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a statistical summary of the estimates of selected chronic conditions and mental health characteristics, functional limitations, health status, health behaviors, health care access and utilization, and human immunodeficiency virus testing. The civilian non-institutionalized adult population is classified by sex, age, race, Hispanic origin, education, family income, poverty status, health insurance coverage, marital status, and place and region of residence.
