Pennsylvania Consolidated and P/FDS Waiver Renewal Process & Proposed Revisions

December 8, 2011 On December 8, 2011, the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare Medical Assistance Advisory Committee presented their concerns for DPW. The committee seeks to update the waiver to reflect current practice, address identified CMS concerns, establish a foundation for structural and program improvements to ensure program sustainability,  effectively address individual needs, and provide more accountability and transparency. The changes affect waiver administration, participant access and eligibility, participant services, participant-centered planning and service delivery, rights, and safeguards, financial accountability, and the quality improvement strategy.
