CARF Directors Elect Sherry Wheelock to a Seat on the Board

Circle Connections: New Talent Sherry Ryan Wheelock, president/CEO of Special Olympics Florida, was elected to a seat on the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Board of Directors during the board�s November 2012 meeting. Wheelock will serve a three-year board term beginning January 2013. The board provides governance for CARF International, a nonprofit accreditor of health and human services. Special Olympics Florida provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
