North Carolina’s Mecklenburg Reaches Deal With State Over Mental Health Services
Circle Connections: Awards & Accreditations Mecklenburg County has reached an agreement with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to provide mental-health services to Medicaid patients in the county. The state has set a "go live" date of March 1 for MeckLINK Behavioral Health. That public agency was created by the county to manage Medicaid contracts with providers in the mental-health field. The services are offered to patients with mental illness, developmental and intellectual disabilities, and substance abuse.
