Virginia’s Valley CSB In Search Of New Executive Director
Circle Connections: New Talent Valley Community Services Board is in search of a new executive director. Neysa Simmers, who led the behavioral health agency as it faced a $3 million budget deficit, plans to step down by April 1. Simmers began as interim director in January 2011, following several years of inconsistent leadership at the agency. In 2010, after several interim directors, Valley's board paid an executive search firm $17,000, but were unhappy with the candidates that produced.
