Connecticut’s Behavioral Health Consulting Services, LLC Offers New Treatment For Children

Behavioral Health Consulting Services, LLC is offering an effective intervention for children that can alleviate the emotional and behavioral challenges that may arise in children who have been exposed to trauma. The intervention, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) has significant national research showing its effectiveness. In Connecticut, a study of children treated for trauma using TF-CBT showed an almost 50 percent remission in symptoms related to post-traumatic stress.
