Wisconsin’s Gundersen’s Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit Receives $1M Donation
Circle Connections: Awards & Accreditations An Onalaska family's generous gift will be used to care for teens struggling with mental illness. Dr. David and Sacia Morris donated $1 million to Gundersen Lutheran's adolescent inpatient behavioral health unit. The donation will be used to increase the number of beds available for teenagers from three to eight, which will allow more teens to be treated at the facility. Morris said the outdoor basketball court is their favorite part of the unit. It's a way for the teens to go outside and play, and not be stuck in a hospital . . .
