Neuronetrix Completes Trial Of Alzheimer’s Detection Device
Louisville-based Neuronetrix Inc. has completed gathering data in a clinical study of its Cognision System device. The Cognision is a headpiece that scans a user's brain to measure physiological activity. The company has been developing the device for the last 10 years or so. The clinical trial is sought to evaluate the Cognision's ability to discriminate early stage Alzheimer's patients from healthy patients of about the same age.
