Circle Connections: Awards & Accreditations Amerigroup, a wholly owned subsidiary of WellPoint, Inc., announced its Public Policy Institute (PPI) received an award from the Strong Start for Mothers and Newborns Initiative, an effort by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, for its group prenatal care project proposal.
