North Carolina’s CoastalCare To Go Live As Medicaid Waiver Site

Circle Connections: Mergers & Acquisitions CoastalCare, the newly formed entity that oversees behavioral health in Carteret County and four others, got the green light this week to go live as a Medicaid waiver site. Beginning March 1, the Managed Care Organization, or MCO, will manage Medicaid dollars for services in mental health and substance use disorders, and intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
