Switzerland’s Nestle Health Science Makes First Venture Into Depression Market
Circle Connections: Mergers & Acquisitions Nestle SA's Health Science subsidiary has purchased a U.S. maker of medical foods used to combat depression. Nestle said it bought Pamlab LLC, a company that makes combinations of vitamins that are used in conjunction with conventional drugs to help patients suffering from depression. It didn't disclose the acquisition price. The Pamlab purchase marks the latest Nestle effort to expand in the fast-growing medical nutrition market.
