Pennsylvania’s UPMC Teaming With Oracle To Assist Small Hospitals
Circle Connections: Mergers & Acquisitions University of Pittsburgh Medical Center is teaming with computing giant Oracle to sell a web-based identity management system to small and midsized health care providers. The move is part of UPMCÂ’s ongoing strategy of taking its health care expertise, whether it is in information technology, managerial or operations and commercializing it so that smaller organizations can benefit from UPMCÂ’s work, said spokeswoman Wendy Zellner.
