Texas Sees Waco Psychiatrists Offering Non-Drug Depression Treatment

Circle Connections: New Products & Services Two Waco psychiatrists are offering a type of depression treatment that can offer long-lasting relief without the use of medication. Known as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, the treatment method involves using specialized equipment that creates a magnetic field to jump-start activity in the part of the brain that controls mood. It was approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration in 2008 and has been trickling down to psychiatrists� offices during the past couple of years.
