Pennsylvania’s PCPA & PARF To Merge Effective July 1, 2013

Circle Connections: Mergers & Acquisitions On March 20th, the PCPA (Pennsylvania Community Providers Association) Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve the plan of merger with PARF (Pennsylvania Association of Rehabilitation Facilities), effective July 1st. This was a historic meeting signifying the beginning of a new era of Pennsylvania provider associations and one that now leads to the PARF Board of Directors meeting on April 2nd, and both organizations' Special Member Meetings on April 24th. The PCPA board vote was subsequent to a March 18th meeting of the PCPA/PARF Joint Operating Committee, which also approved the plan of merger . . .
