Circle Connections: New Products & Services The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation introduced a new method of dealing with the emotional fallout. The Consensus Approach to Firefighter Behavioral Health is based on psychological research and military response to PTSD. It supports Life-Safety Initiative No. 13, which calls for counseling and psychological support for firefighters and their families. Two components of the new model – Curbside Manner and After-Action Review – are communication tools designed both for daily use and integration into response scenarios.
